General Update: Redish Brown Blazer Horse and More Oberon Pics

Well, I got some time to paint last night, was able to primer the Blazer's horses black and got started on one of them. I was going for a redish brown look, its still WIP but I guess it turned... Ok...

After the break, I'll give a run down of how I got the redish brown effect and I've got more pic from Oberon. Taken by one of the photographers during the event...

How I painted the brownish red skin tone:

Like I said, I primered the model balck. Then I applied about 3 to 4 coats of Umbar Umbar, at first you won't see each coat but the more you build up the more visible it becomes. Once there is a distinct brown color on the horse, switch to Skorn Red and apply it on areas you want a strong highlight. It won't look good when you do this but the process isn't done yet, once the Skorn Red has been applied load up on Umbar Umbar again and start applying thin coats of it all over the model. Keep doing this till you feel that the Skron Red blends with the Umbar Umbar.

I'll try to get more time in later, but for now here are more pics from Oberon!
