Painting Attempts: Ironclad Reboot

Hello folks! This week I continue my army reboot with the Ironclad.

Let's get on with how I did it.

Primer:

Black

Steel parts:

Drybrush cold steel

Blue armor plates:

Base of cygnar blue base. Equal parts cygnar blue base and exile blue for shade. Dot of morrow white with cygnar blue base for the highlights.

Gold armor plates:

Base of solid gold. Mix water and armor wash and glaze it over to tone down the shine.

Eyes:

Start with a layer or two for khador red base. Wait for it to dry then add a layer of ember orange. Once dry add a dot of cygnus yellow.

There you have it, quick and easy. Next week we'll continue the reboot with the Lancer. I'll also run gloss over painting the mini in parts before final assembly.
